Middleton Has Found a Home

Middie
Middie. Westport Animal Control
Middleton was adopted by a very nice young couple that saw her posting and photos on Westport Now.  Middleton aka Middie is a 6-month-old staffie mix being fostered by a WASA volunteer.  She wins hearts wherever she goes with her playful personality and wagging tail.  Middie is great with other dogs particularly those that are ready to play.  She shares her toys very nicely and loves to play tug of war with other canine friends.  Middie loves to cuddle, especially in the morning.  She definitely isn’t a morning girl which comes in handy when you want to sip some coffee and read the paper before you head out for morning exercise.  Middie is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed and parasite free.  For additional information about Middie, please send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Pippa Found Her Forever Family

Pippa
Pippa. Westport Animal Control
Pippa is an approximately 10-month-old PBGV (Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen).  She is being fostered by a WASA volunteer.  She is affectionate and outgoing with people and gets along well with other dogs.  While fluffy, cute and on the small side, she is not a couch-sitting purse dog by any means.  She loves to play and chase a tennis ball.  Her breed requires that she receive adequate daily exercise to stay happy and fit.  She has been to Winslow Park and gives it – and the dogs – a big wag of approval.  Pippa would do best in a home without very small children.  She is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, heartworm free and microchipped.  For additional information on Pippa, please send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Joe-Pye
Joe-Pye. Connecticut Humane Society
Joe-Pye is an adorable dog with stumpy little legs and a super playful personality!  This Bassett Hound/Lab Mix is about 2 years old, neutered and up to date on all vaccinations.  He loves to play with teens and adults AND other dogs but he would prefer a home without cats.  Joe-Pye is a goofy boy with a heart of gold.  Although a bit shy at first meeting, he warms up easily and we’re sure he’ll bond very closely to his new family.  When you meet this adorable pup you’ll want to take him right home for a good game of tug and a comfy nap on the couch.  Come meet Joe-Pye today at the Westport branch of the Connecticut Humane Society!

Wills Has a Forever Family

Wills
Wills. Westport Animal Control
William (Wills to his friends) is a 4-year-old prince of a shepherd mix that is being fostered by a WASA volunteer.  He was rescued from a Connecticut animal control facility after he landed there upon the death of his owner.  He is gentle, calm and an all around love of a dog.  He is housebroken, well trained, wonderful with other dogs and walks very well on a leash.  Your name doesn’t have to be Kate to appreciate his grandness.  Although Wills is on daily medication for seizures he has had in the past, he is one healthy pooch.  He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.  Please send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for additional information and an adoption application.

Kiko Has a New Home

Kiko
Kiko. Westport Animal Control
Kiko (a.k.a Foo) is a male 2-year-old shih-tzu mix that, like many pet store pups, was purchased on a whim from the local pet store without much thought given to the lifetime commitment and care involved with adding a pet to your family.  Unlike shoes and handbags you purchase on impulse, you can’t store a dog away in your closet after the novelty wears off.  This little fellow is sweet but cautious and tentative when he first meets new friends and would do best in a home without small children.  However, once he knows you he is quite delightful and affectionate.  He does appear to get along well with other dogs.  Please send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for additional information and an adoption application.

JJ on Trial Adoption

JJ is a handsome boxer of approximately 5 years of age that needs a new home after his owner lost hers.  He is a real charmer, and when he leans on you for attention, you’ll never want to leave him. His fur is so glossy and soft that petting him is truly therapeutic.  JJ is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.  Please send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for additional information and an adoption application.

Nicolet and Simone Adopted

Nicolet and Simone
Nicolet and Simone. Westport Animal Control

Since meeting this adorable duo I’ve become a charter member of the bichon fan club.  They were abandoned at Westport Animal Control, and they became instant French starlets with the staff and volunteers.  They are sweet, affectionate, love to be held, get along with other dogs, housebroken – and just divine.  They are very devoted to each other and need to be adopted together.  So, don your beret, give a call to Westport Animal Control (203-341-5076) to schedule a time to meet them and get ready to lose your heart.
