Finn Found A New Home

Finn
Finn. Westport Animal Shelter Advocates
Finn ended up in a Connecticut animal control facility not because he barked too much, chewed too much or became too much work.  He lost his home because his owner lost his home.  He is approximately 4 to 5 years old.  The first night in foster care, following a vet visit, bath and good meal, he slept from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. the next morning with a little chihuahua curled up next to him.  He’s a big dog with a big heart.  He even earned a “has a great personality” comment in his vet record.  Finn is housebroken and knows his basic commands.  He is up to date on vaccinations and is neutered.  If interested in learning more about Finn or to receive an adoption application, please send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Apple Found Her Forever Family

Apple
Apple. Westport Animal Shelter Advocates
It won’t take long for this little darling to become the apple of your eye.  Apple is a 3-year-old tiny white Chihuahua being fostered by a Westport Animal Shelter Advocates (WASA) volunteer.  She loves to give kisses and, if a lap is not available, she’ll find a warm cozy spot to curl up and nap.  Apple likes to sleep in and prefers brunch over breakfast.  Apple gets along very well with other dogs unless they try to sit on her.  She is housebroken and walks very well on a leash.  Please send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for an adoption application or additional information.

Snoopy. Westport Animal Shelter Advocates
Snoopy is a 4-year-old Jack Russell Terrier that wants to be the center of your universe.  Because he is so sweet and affectionate, it won’t be a big effort on your part.  He has been a bit neglected throughout his life and it’s certainly time for this fine boy to have the life he deserves.  He loves to play, show off his tricks and cuddle while you scratch behind his ears.  He is very friendly to everyone he meets.  Snoopy is quite selective about his canine buddies.  He loves some and some he’s not too crazy about.  For additional information and an adoption application, please email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).  Snoopy is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations.

Cole Has Found A Forever Family

Cole
Cole. Westport Animal Shelter Advocates
Cole is a 3-month-old darling of a Doberman-mix pup that was abandoned at Westport Animal Control.  While ending up at a shelter is always traumatic for a dog, it can be even more so for a pup which is why she is being fostered by a Westport Animal Shelter Advocates (WASA) volunteer.  She is cute, cuddly, wiggly, playful and smart.  She gets along well with other dogs and wants to be everyone’s best friend.  We adore this little pup.  For additional information and an adoption application, please email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).  Cole is up-to-date on her vaccinations and is spayed.

Phoebe Was Adopted

Phoebe
Phoebe. Westport Animal Control
Phoebe feels like it’s her birthday every day when she gets to raid the Westport Animal Control (203-341-5076) toy basket.  Phoebe is a green-eyed beauty of a pit-hound mix of approximately 1 to 2 years of age.  Her tail never stops wagging when she’s around her friends at animal control – or anybody that stops to say hello.  She’s so happy to be in a place where she is getting love, attention and good food that has enabled her to put on some much needed weight.  Please call soon to meet Phoebe, and, because it is her birthday everyday, please make sure to bring her a toy!

Gentle Rosie Found A New Home

Rosie
Rosie. Westport Animal Shelter Advocates
Rosie is a sweet and gentle senior lab-shepherd mix that needs a home.  She watched over her owner faithfully despite being increasingly neglected as her owner’s health deteriorated.  Now that her owner is in a healthcare facility, a dedicated group of women have been coming in several times a day to take her for walks and to feed her.  Rosie, however, needs – and deserves – more.  She enjoys being with people and because of the tender care she has been receiving as of late is gaining weight and learning to wag her tail again.  Rosie loves to go for little walks and would love a comfy home where she could receive even more attention.  She will sit by your feet and watch over you like only a good dog can.  We hope you will consider opening your heart and your home to Rosie.  Please send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or call Julie at (203)557-0361 for more information.

Storey has a new Home

Storey
Storey. Westport Animal Shelter Advocates
Storey is a big, fun, loving, slobbery, beautiful 3-year-old purebred Neapolitan Mastiff and the newest resident at Westport Animal Control.  She is well trained (knows her sit, stay, give paw commands) and is housebroken. Storey knows her “lay down” command very, very well.  She gets along well with most dogs but shouldn’t be placed in a home with small dogs.  She wants nothing more than to be loved and lay around on something soft and fluffy. She is currently being treated for early-stage cherry eye. We absolutely love her!  For an adoption application or additional information, please send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or call (203)341-5076.
