Ernie is an eager-to-please, one-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a gorgeous brindle coat of black, brown and white swirls. This bundle of affection enjoys going on walks, runs or just sitting contentedly next to someone. He would make a wonderful family member and friend. UPDATE: Ernie was moved to the Connecticut Humane Society, which gave him a chance to meet a lot more potential families and, happily, he did find a new one!

These lovely Belle sisters can be found at the CT Humane Society (455 Post Road E., (203)227-4137). They are 6-month-old spayed female mixed pups that are just beautiful. Although they are a touch timid, they are also very gentle and sweet. We could go on and on about them but once you meet them, you won’t want to leave them. It would be wonderful if you want to adopt them together but they can be adopted separately. Hurry over soon to meet these darling pups.

Ed is a 6-year-old neutered male hound mix. He is smart, loving and very handsome. He’s just a great dog that will be a wonderful companion dog and/or family pet. He would prefer to be the only dog in the house. In the tradition of great dogs, he doesn’t need a sidekick.
We can’t say enough about this very special girl. Jada is a 10-month-old spayed female American pit bull mix that can be found at the CT Humane Society (455 Post Road E., (203)227-4137). She was surrendered upon the death of her owner. She is extremely sweet and affectionate, walks well on a leash and knows her basic commands. Her lovely green eyes and adorable personality will turn you to mush. Jada needs you, and I’m sure once you make her a part of your life you won’t know how you did without her.
Tanner is a puppy in every sense of the word. This adorable 6-month-old altered male lab mix pup is very playful and active and can be found at the CT Humane Society (455 Post Road E., (203)227-4137). He’s a sweet and social little guy that needs a family willing to do all the training that goes along with having a new puppy. Often puppies are returned because people don’t realize all the time, training and love that are involved with bringing a new puppy home. Puppies want to run, jump, chew and piddle. She was a homeless stray and some nice person brought her in so that she could find a nice new loving home.
