What do you get when you cross a cute baby hippo and a doggie with a heart of gold? You get Zoe, of course. Zoe can be found at the CT Humane Society (455 Post Road E., (203) 227-4137). She’s a 2-year-old spayed female Staffordshire terrier mix. Her owners are moving and can’t take their beloved pet with them. You can see the hope in her eyes when you look at her in her cage. She’s hoping that someone will take her home to be their new beloved pet. Please stop by soon to meet Zoe and get ready to fall in love.

Hi, I’m Spazz! Connecticut Humane Society
This gorgeous girl is a sweet southern dog that is going to make some lucky person a wonderful pet and friend. Spazz is a 1-year-old spayed female husky mix. Her name is quite misleading because she is not “spazzy.” She is, however, a bit shy but responds well (and quickly) to gentle words and attention. She absolutely melts with joy when she is the center of attention. Stop by soon to meet Spazz at the CT Humane Society (455 Post Road E., (203) 227-4137).
Hi, I’m Chelsea! Connecticut Humane Society
Dogs are so forgiving. This sweet girl, Chelsea, was found abandoned and brought to the CT Humane Society (455 Post Road E., (203) 227-4137) to find a loving new family. She is quite simply the best. She loves everyone and is very happy around other dogs. Chelsea is a 2 ½-year-old spayed female basset hound. Come by soon to meet (and fall in love with) the basset with a heart of gold, Chelsea.
How can you resist these two little cuties that need a loving home? Please stop by the CT Humane Society (455 Post Road E., (203) 227-4137) to meet Punkin and Cole. They are small corgi mix pups (altered male and spayed female) that are 6 months of age. They are a bit shy at first and take turns hiding behind each other but quickly respond to puppy language. They love to be cuddled and give kisses. Stop by soon to meet these adorable doggies.
Hi, I’m Baby! Connecticut Humane Society
It’s incredibly sad when a wonderful dog like Baby is abandoned and left to fend for herself. She deserves so much better. Baby is a 3-year-old spayed female small husky. You can find this beautiful girl at the CT Humane Society (455 Post Road E., (203) 227-4137). She is very friendly, well trained and gets along well with other dogs. Baby would do best in an adult home with someone willing to give her the attention and exercise that she needs. Please stop by soon to meet this sweet Baby.
Where can you find an incredibly handsome, playful, smart and lovable husky that just loves people? Not at the local pet store, but at the Connecticut Humane Society (455 Post Road E., (203) 227-4137). Hi, I’m Blizzard, an 8-month-old altered male husky. Although the staff and volunteers are very nice to me and the chow is pretty good, I want to romp, have fun, and find my special people. So, make the smart choice, don’t support puppy mills and stop by very soon to meet me, Blizzard, at the CT Humane Society.
Have your friends been letting you down lately? Aren’t being loyal and true to you? Then how about finding a new friend: the four-legged kind of friend like me. Hi, I’m Snoop, a 2-year-old, altered male fox hound mix. You can find me at the Connecticut Humane Society (455 Post Road E., (203) 227-4137). I’m a very friendly boy, and I would like to find my forever home soon. I get along well with other dogs so I wouldn’t mind sharing my new abode and family one little bit. If you have a nice roomy fenced-in yard I would be so appreciative. Please stop by to see me soon!
I’m a cutie don’t you think? Don’t you want to meet me in person? Hi, I’m Gizmo, a 1-year-old altered male domestic short hair. You can find me at the Connecticut Humane Society (455 Post Road E., (203) 227-4137). I’m one sweet little fellow that loves to cuddle and play with my toys. You’re feeling the Gizmo vibes, aren’t you? You need me in your life I think. So rev up the car and head on over soon to meet me. Just so you know, I may not be all that happy to share you with another cat. Really, though, I’m all you need to make your life cat-happy.
I admit it. I’m a little sad and discouraged but I haven’t given up hope YET. Hi, I’m Sadie, a senior spayed female cocker spaniel. You can find me (and please find me soon!) at the Connecticut Humane Society (455 Post Road E., (203) 227-4137). I’m a darling little dog that didn’t deserve to be given my walking papers after being such a devoted and (I thought) beloved pet. If you know cockers, you know we love our treats and ear scratches. I am no exception. Since I’m not quite a puppy anymore, I would probably do best in an adult home; a home with someone that will give me lots of love, attention, and treats!
Would someone please tell us what two friendly, not to mention handsome, cats like us are doing in a cage at the Connecticut Humane Society (455 Post Road E., (203) 227-4137). Hi, we’re Chubba Bubba and Baby (and please, when you adopt us, feel free to change our names), 4-year-old altered male Himalayan mixes. Our previous owner did not have time for us. We are lovely and sweet; we’re sure you can find time for us. So, stop by soon to meet us. Have those new names ready.
